BTP (ex PEG) INFRASTRUTTURE SpA is an Italian Engineering Company, coming from the demerging of PROGETTI EUROPA & GLOBAL SpA (hereon briefly called PEG) which was founded in early 1970. Along the last 50 years, PROGETTI EUROPA & GLOBAL SpA (hereon briefly called PEG) has acquired a deep experience and know-how on the following two main sectors: “Oil & Gas Plants” and “Major Infrastructures Projects”.

Due to the exponential growth of the national and international market in both sectors, PEG SpA has decided to demerge in two different Companies PEG SpA and PEG INFRASTRUTTURE SpA. The former mainly operating in the Oil & Gas Field and the latter focusing in the Infrastructure, Industrial and renewable energy sectors. In particular, PEG INFRASTRUTTURE SpA took in charge the business line involved in the Engineering, Construction Supervision and Project & Construction Management of major infrastructures (Railways, Metros, Highways, Ports, Airports, Complex buildings, industrial plants, etc.), together with all the references, certifications, contracts and assets of the infrastructure sector.

In order to minimize confusions and interferences with PEG Oil & Gas in Italy and abroad and aiming to avoid miscommunications with Clients and other Authorities, “PEG INFRASTRUTTURE” has recently changed the Company name into BTP INFRASTRUTTURE SpA and maintained the same Economical & Financial Assets, Past Experience, Project References, Top Management & Technical Staff, Company Registration, VAT number, etc. of PEG INFRASTRUTTURE.
